Scuba diving in the Visyas

The area around Dumaguete and APO Island on Negros Oriental offers you more then 25 great dive sites. There is a fantastic variety of corals and animals. Depth between 5 and 40 m invites you to discover the unique and fantastic underwater world.

The Visayas offers you wonderful coral gardens and a big variety of species. This area is a real paradise not only for divers but also for underwater photographers.

Anglerfish, ghostpipefish, nudibranches, leaffish, sea snakes, walls, coral gardens, sea weed meadows and muck diving are attracting divers from all over the world.

Our house reef starts directly in front of the diving school. It is not only for beginners but also advanced divers and of course underwater photographers. Since summer 2005 it is declared as a Marine Sanctuary.

If you are lucky you can see big fish like tresher sharks, baracudas, tunas and turtles around Apo island.

With water temperatures between 24° and 29° Celsius diving around Negros is very comfortable. Most of the dive sites are suitable for beginners.

The visibility varies between 10 - 25 meter. If you are very lucky you can experience a visibility of over 30 metres depending of the season.
