| Tauchplatzbeschrieb:Description of dive site: |
On the west point of the island we find this divesite, where
you usually encounter strong currents.
The entry can be
quiet tough with high waves, the reason why his spot is
not suitable for novice divers.
In bigger depths, you should
watch out fort he strong downstream current which leads
away from the Island. From the entry point you descend
down to the max. depth of 38 meters.
Diving a multilevelprofile
you reach the reef top again heading southwards
ascending along the steep slope. You might come across a
strong counter-current at the edge. Here you should turn
back.
On the reef top you swim with a gentle current. The
boat will pick you up, after you safety-stop.

| What to be seen: |
Due to the occasionally strong currents on the edge of this
island, encounters with bigger fish are not rare.
Tunas, big
spanish mackrels and triggerfish are often seen here too.
Apart from nudibranches and sea weed you can find sea snakes
on the top of the reef.
The coral reef is very nice here
and consists mainly of hard corals.
