Description of dive site:
 |
Rock Point East starts in the bay south of the main beach
of Apo Island.
The depth at the reef top is about 5 m. Between
coral blocks you swim to the reef brink. Here the reef
continues relatively steep down to the max. depth of 35
m.
Diving a multilevel profiel you continue your way with
the reef on your right shoulder slowly to shallower depths
direction north. When you leave the bay at the edge there
might be some strong current.
Hundreds of redtooth triggerfish
and many other reeffish you can observe here.
The whole slope is covered with soft corals and sponges.
Either you turn back here to the entry point or you continue
your dive into „Rock Point West“.
This dive can be made
in shallow depths to fit the requirements for novice divers.
