You start the dive at the notheast end of the bay and follow
the steep slope down to the max. depth of 20 m.
The reef
on your right shoulder you continue the tour with a multilevel
profile ascending along the steep slope back to the
reeftop.
You reach the southeast end of the bay. Here you
will find Clownfish City in 4 – 7 meters depth.
Big, with anemones
coverd coral blocks give shelter for different kind of
Clownfish.
This place is still one of the attractions on Apo
Island. On the reef top you dive back to the entry point, direction
northeast.
What to be seen:
At the begin of this dive you can find black corals on the
steep slope. In this slope there are some overhangs and
hardcorals.
It’s a good idea to bring a diving lamp. You
pass many table corals and staghorn corals on your way to
Clownfish City. Triggerfish and sea snakes are often seen
here too. Interesting to observe are the numberous different
clownfishes in Clownfish City. Most of all, the black
anemonefish you will find here in big numbers.
