DIVE SITE "SEDNEY PARK , NEGROS"



Generally:

Steep coral reef with max. 45° slope

Shape: small reef
Size: approx. 50 meter long
Distance: 5 Minuten
Direction: Süd
Max. depth: max. 22 meter
Current: gentle to strong
Visibillity: 10 – 25 meter
Best Season: all year round

Description of dive site:

In front of the Atlantis Resort ist the Sedney Park.

The descent ist he same as the house reef but you turn right instead. At 22 meters depth the reef similar to the El Dorado Housereef.
It is only 30 meters wide but getting wider the more the diver ascends. Left and right of the reef as well as below 22 meters is sandy slope.

At 5 meters the reef ends, ideal for safety stop at the end of the dive.



What to be seen:

Big and small hard and soft corals forming a coral reef on
the slope.

One can find moray eels, lionfish, crabs, shrimps, clown (anemone) fishes and nudy branches. In the flat area also leaf fishes, Indian walkmen or stone fishes can be found.

This dive site earned 4 stars fort he surprises during night dives. Lucky divers can even see a spanish dancer in
action or sponge crabs.
